Peace Builders

The Afghanistan Peace Initiative (API) invites you to join our mission as a Peacebuilder—a dedicated individual or group committed to fostering reconciliation, empowerment, and sustainable peace in Afghanistan. As of today, we are actively seeking volunteers, partners, and advocates to contribute to our ongoing efforts. Whether you are in Afghanistan or part of the global community, your involvement can make a tangible difference.

Who Can Be a Peacebuilder?

Peacebuilders come from all walks of life—local leaders, educators, students, women’s groups, and international supporters. No prior experience is required; what matters is your passion for peace and willingness to learn. Our programs offer training and resources to equip you with the skills needed to effect change.

  • Local mediators facilitating community dialogues.
  • Educators integrating peace education into curricula.
  • Advocates raising awareness through social media or events.
  • Donors and partners providing financial or logistical support.

How to Get Involved

Becoming a Peacebuilder is simple and flexible. Here are the steps to join us:

  • Register Online: Visit our website (coming soon) or email us at info@afgpeaceinitiative.org to sign up.
  • Attend Training: Participate in our virtual or in-person workshops on conflict resolution and community engagement, starting this month.
  • Contribute Your Skills: Share your expertise in areas like teaching, research, or outreach to support our projects.
  • Spread the Word: Use #PeacebuilderAPI on social media to promote our cause and inspire others.

Impact of Peacebuilders

Since launching our Peacebuilder program, over 300 individuals have joined, contributing to 50+ community dialogues and 10 policy recommendations presented to local authorities. Your involvement will help us expand these efforts, reaching more villages, schools, and forums across Afghanistan by the end of 2025.
