Our Mission

The Afghanistan Peace Initiative (API) is dedicated to fostering lasting peace, stability, and sustainable development in Afghanistan. Through dialogue, research, and community empowerment, we aim to address the root causes of conflict and create inclusive pathways to reconciliation. Our work is grounded in the belief that every Afghan has a role in shaping a peaceful and prosperous future.

International Advocacy: Partnering with global stakeholders to amplify Afghan voices and promote sustainable solutions.

Conflict Resolution and Mediation: Facilitating Track II diplomacy and grassroots peacebuilding to bridge divides and foster understanding.

Research and Policy Analysis: Conducting evidence-based studies on security, governance, and human rights to inform effective policies.

Community Engagement: Empowering women, youth, and marginalized groups to actively participate in the peace process.
